The Vascular Disease Management monthly poll is a barometer of vascular specialists’ views on trending topics in the vascular therapy arena. In the past month we asked readers to vote on whether they thought drug-eluting balloons were promising but still not well understood for the treatment of vascular disease.
The majority of respondents disagreed that they are still unproven devices. Perhaps results from the Medtronic drug-eluting balloon trial will change more of those “agrees” to “disagrees.” What are your thoughts? Respond in the comments below. You can also read a review of drug-eluting technologies from volume 8, issue 9 of VDM.
