ISET 2013 is in full swing at the Fontainebleau resort in Miami Beach, Florida, with more than 1,400 attendees. This year marks the 25th anniversary of this endovascular conference. The meeting is led by leading interventionalist Barry Katzen, MD, and includes live case studies as well as how-to presentations in addition to general sessions. Areas of focus at this year’s event include a summit for Latin American physicians, a forum on stroke, a session dedicated to nurses and technologists in interventional cardiology, as well as information bout the health care climate, advances in venous interventions, peripheral arterial disease, and stroke. The event also includes the Symposium on Clinical Interventional Oncology, presenting cutting-edge information in the field, including news that came from the meeting, “Interventional Treatment with Radioactive Beads Helps Colon Cancer Patients Live Longer: Presented at ISET 2013.”
If you are attending the ISET meeting, visit the HMP Communications booth number 605 to meet with the managing editor of Vascular Disease Management Jennifer Ford and discuss potential manuscript submissions to the journal.
