In January 2013, ISET will host its 25th international conference for endovascular therapy. The meeting is held for interventional radiologists, interventional cardiologists, vascular surgeons, and other healthcare professionals involved in peripheral, cardiac and neurologic intervention.
In 2012 nearly 1,500 participants representing 44 states and 46 countries attended. At the conference, Robert J. Kennedy, MD, presented results of his study of ultrasound-accelerated thrombolysis for the treatment of acute pulmonary embolism. VDM spoke with Dr. Kennedy about the study results.
